I'm a newbie and I was interesting on Age of Empires (I've only played a few of AoE 3), and I was attracted by the beautiful graphics of the definitive edition, but I'm very disappointed :/ (I know that I shouldn't base my judgment only on the graphics, but I think it's better AoE 3 than this) Mycomputer (specs below) was also crashing after awhile of playing AoE2: DE. I could see that the RAM was getting fully consumed (~16 GB) and the GPU memory used was up to 8 GB. I downgraded the graphics driver to version (it was previously 31.0.101.3413) using a download from the Intel Graphics Drivers & Software section of Itwill also tell you how much virtual memory AOE2:DE was consuming at the time of crash. In my case with UHD enabled, the game was consuming 11.5GB virtual memory. This is on a system with 16GB RAM. Not all crashes will be due to lack of memory, so looking at event viewer is useful to rule that out at least.
